    This class is an introduction to the aquatic environment for parents and their infant/toddler. Our experienced teachers will guide you through proper supporting techniques and special activities designed to make your little ones become acclimated to the water. Using a variety of songs and games we will work on proper conditioning, assisted submersions, floating, gliding and kicking.

    This class is designed to introduce your toddler to basic breath control techniques, elementary swimming propulsion skills, and water safety essentials. Using a variety of songs and games we will work on voluntary face submerging, underwater exploration, kicking and paddling, basic body control positions and balance, safety turns and proper ways to enter/exit the pool.

    The main goal of this class is to prepare young swimmers to become comfortable in the water without parents and to continue their swimming journey in an “instructor-student” format. Children will receive increased direct instruction from their coach while still requiring the parent/caregiver to accompany the child in the water or pool deck. We will work on mastering the skills introduced in Blue Pearls 2 and combine them in more advanced sequences while focusing on the student’s ability to perform those skills without parents.

    This class is specifically designed for preschool age children to become comfortable in the water environment as well as learn basic aquatic and safety skills. We will work on voluntary face submerging and underwater exploration, body balance and buoyancy management, elementary swimming propulsion skills, as well as safety turns and proper ways to enter/exit the pool.

    The goals of this class are to develop basic breathing techniques, increase breath holding abilities and improve body control and streamline positions. We will also focus on developing water coordination skills through combining simultaneous and alternating leg and arm movements and Swim-Float-Swim techniques while working towards independence in the water.

    The goals of this class are to gain self-sufficiency and confidence in the water and to be able to swim independently for short distances. In this level, we are focusing on developing water stamina through increased repetitions, distances, times and levels of refinement in performing previously learned skills as well as implementing the Swim-Roll-Swim sequence, introducing above water recovery and basic water treading techniques.

    This class was specifically designed for elementary and middle school age children with the main goals of becoming comfortable in the water environment and learning basic swimming and water safety skills. We will work on basics of body and breath control, buoyancy management, streamline positions on front and back with flutter kick, underwater pull and recovery, Swim-Float-Swim safety sequences, as well as safety turns and proper ways to enter/exit the pool.

    The objectives of this class are to gain independence in the water and build a foundation for proper stroke mechanics. We will work on Front Crawl & Backstroke Elements, proper body alignment, Swim-Roll-Swim safety sequences as well as above water recovery and an introduction to elementary water treading techniques.

    The objective of this class is to develop rudimentary proficiency in Freestyle with side breathing, Elementary and Regular Backstroke, and develop Breaststroke and Butterfly kicks. We also introduce your child to basic deep-water safety skills and develop confidence for swimming in deep water.

    The main goals of this class are to expand stroke proficiency and learn proper Freestyle stroke mechanics with unilateral side breathing and proper timing and pattern, refine Backstroke with a focus on stroke timing and kick efficiency, learn Breaststroke and Butterfly arm techniques as well as introducing proper timing for those strokes. We will also incorporate head first starts from kneeling positions and develop further deep-water safety skills.

    The focus of our Swim Club is to continually improve children’s swimming skills in a friendly competitive environment. We will use special timed sets and drills to improve endurance, develop racing skills, and perfect efficiency and effectiveness of all strokes. Also, participants will learn how to use a swimming pace clock and basic rules and regulations for swimming competitions. Every season we organize our Blue Gems Championship where children have a chance to showcase their ability in an exciting and motivating environment.

    This program is designed for teens with little or no swimming experience. If you have a fear of the water and thought that swimming isn’t for you – we will dispel this myth!
